Vasundhara, the founder of Inspire Dose, an organization that advocates for mental health, discussed with us her passion for spirituality, health-care and life-lessons.

Question one: It’s a pleasure to speak with you, Vasundhara! You seem to be passionate about a variety of distinct yet overlapping subjects. Could you take us through them and explain why they are important to you?
I am passionate about mental health as it is very necessary to focus on this in this busy world and the stress level in every age group is high. I want to help people who are fighting their battles in their head. Spirituality is important as it is the solution to every problem. Everyone's ultimate goal should be connecting their soul to the ultimate soul .
Healthcare is the field where I want to enter professionally and serve people who cannot afford good health care facilities.
Life skills are really important in life as one must have values and be a kind of multitasker. So I would like to encourage people to learn life skills using every possible opportunity

Question two: You’d also mentioned that you have founded an organization titled ‘Inspire Dose’ that deals with said subjects. Where are you based out of and how can readers find and support the mission and content of Inspire Dose?
The organization is based in India but we are connected internationally. Readers can find interesting write ups and animations related to all the topics. Also we conduct surveys on various mental health issues. It gives positivity and hope to people and also gives knowledge about spirituality, healthcare and life skills.
Readers can support us by following us on Instagram and subscribing to our YouTube channel. They can even apply for various positions like video creator, content writer, survey manager etc. by contacting us on Instagram.

Question three: How do you spread reliable, interesting insights about mental health, spirituality, life-lessons and healthcare through your organization? Moreover, how is the research gone about?
We try to understand the problems people are facing like anxiety, depression etc and then do research and make our content. We also connect with our organization that deal with the said topics and learn from them and make more interesting content. We add in graphics and illustrations also to make it more appealing. For spirituality we go through holy scriptures and make content. For health care we do intense research so that only correct information reaches readers. We also take help from WHO's website and contact doctors. For life skills our content team is very much reliable!

Question four: What are your goals for the future of Inspire Dose? When was it first established?
We currently have our website under construction. It will be out soon by the end of this year. Further we will start some campaigns and webinars on various topics. So let's see what the future unfolds for us. It was first established in July 2020!

Question five: Who are your personal icons? What other activism related pages would you recommend people to follow?
A tough question to answer as I find inspiration in each one I look around. But still the driving inspiration of my life is Lord Krishna (it may sound weird) but the day I read Bhagwad Gita and learnt about the principles He gave for living a worthy life was the day I felt inspired! My grandfather who is a doctor and has a charity clinic is the second person who inspires me to serve humanity! These two are my personal icons.
Here some great options to follow- @thekindkoalaproject @lit_o_sphere @thebrightsidemz @thepurplediaryproject @codingforcharity @etregirls

Question six: How could your passions possibly connect to each other? (i.e life-lessons about spirituality, mental health stigma in the healthcare industry)
Actually all four are interconnected as when you are spiritually enlightened then your mind and soul are at peace. You have the capability to handle the day to day stress and your mental health is good which also keep you physically fit as both of them are connected. If you are mentally happy your body is also happy. When your physically fit then only you can learn life skills. So actually all of them are interconnected!

Question seven: How did you come up with the name Inspire Dose? Why does it well represent your mission?
Actually it is related to the fields we deal in. Like mental health can be dealt with inspiring people to be positive, hopeful etc. spirituality can be inculcated with inspiring people to do so. Here comes the word INSPIRE. Relating to healthcare is DOSE (dose of medicine). So here we give a dose of inspiration to people. I feel it justifies our mission of "लोकाः समस्ताः सुखिनो भवन्तु॥"which means “May all beings everywhere be happy and free, and may the thoughts, words, and actions of my own life contribute in some way to that happiness and to that freedom for all.”

Question eight:  Do you have any advice for people who seek to create pages like Inspire Dose? Where should they start?
To anyone who is starting their organization for a good cause this is a very good deed! Believe in yourselves!
You are actually capable of doing that! Make a long term goal to serve humanity in any way possible. Use your profession, interests and hobbies in such a way that makes a difference in this world. Every one out there is actually a leader. The only thing you need to do is "take action and keep your spirits high".

Question nine: Is there anything else you’d like to share? If not, I’d love to thank you for reaching out and enlightening us!
Life is like a wave! Sometimes you are at the crest and sometimes at trough but whatever position you are at always believe in yourself and keep your spirits high! Make your life's aim to serve the Humanity! Try doing something different and Don't follow someone's footsteps make your own footsteps! Have such a vibe that wherever you go you sprinkle positivity, knowledge and happiness!
